Euro 2020 qualifying seedings. The tournament to be held in 11 cities in 11 UEFA. Seedings for this years Euro 2020 draw has been decided by the nations performance in the qualifying groups as well as a number of other factors. The seedings for the Euro 2020 qualifying draw have been completed following the conclusion of the group stages of the inaugural edition of the Nations League.
Seedings are based on overall European Qualifiers rankings which were determined as follows results against teams in sixth place were discarded. UEFA Euro 2020 will be played from 11 June 2021 to 10 July 2021 where 24 teams will fight it out to be European Champions. 20 teams will qualify for EURO via classic qualification and another 4 teams will qualify via newly founded UEFA Nations League.
The overall UNL-ranking will be compiled after completion of the group stage of the UEFA Nations League 20182019. A final position in group b points. Not their current World Ranking or performances at past tournaments.
Seedings were based on overall European Qualifiers rankings. UEFA Euro 2020 will be played in 13 cities across Europe. No team will be qualified as a host so all UEFA members will play qualification.
The draw for Euro 2020 qualifying takes place in Dublin on Sunday with Nations League finalists England among the top seeds for the competition which will be spread across the continent. Path A Iceland - Romania Bulgaria - Hungary final played in Bulgaria or Hungary. This ranking is used to seed the draw on December 2nd 2018 in Dublin for the qualifying stage of EURO 2020 which will run from March to November 2019 and will consist of 10 groups of 5 or 6 teams.
UEFA works to promote protect and develop European football. 20 teams qualified through usual qualifying rounds played from 2018 to 2020 while Hungary North Macedonia Scotland and Slovakia joined the list after qualifying via playoffs making it final 24 teams. The draw for Euro 2020 takes place on Saturday in Bucharest.
